“Born Again”or as the Greek text says, “Born from Above.” What was Yeshua’s explanation for it? Judging from what the Jewish religious teacher Nicodemus said when he responded to Yeshua in John chapter 3, I will attempt to put this idea back into its biblical Hebraic context as Yeshua and his disciples would have understood it. Our journey to a better understanding of “Born from Above” will bring us to Genesis 3:19, Isaiah 28:19, and in the New Covenant at Titus 3:4-7. These passages should be able to give us a good picture of what the Hebrew idea teaches us based on the Genesis creation story. On this podcast, we will carefully examine the Hebraic term Shuv (repentance). It had a very specific meaning and we will look at it today.
