This week the Torah teachers (mostly) complete the study of Ezekiel chapter 23, and what is arguably another of the most ‘politically-incorrect’ warnings in Scripture.

The prophet, in what amounts to a ‘second witness’ of the metaphor from Jeremiah chapter 3, refers directly to YHVH as the husband of ‘two wives.’ And, again, the parallels of between the idolatry and “whoring” then, and now, are perhaps too painful to hear, but also too glaring to ignore.

Because it can’t be denied what the “whoring” really is.

This will shock some, especially those who haven’t really pondered why the world has become just what it now is. But it should disturb all those with “eyes to see.”

And – be forewarned – the actual text is still pretty graphic. Because He can be blunt, when necessary.
