Daniel’s vision at the time of the end is the conflict of hte ram with horns of Medes & Persians–those areas are now Iraq & Iran, and when Jerusalem is taken as Zech 14:1,2 shows, it will be the beginning of end-times, “day of the Lord” when “the Lord shall roar from Jerusalem, the heavens and earth shall shake,” Joel 3:16
