When Israel Made a Covenant with God, they became His kingdom, Exod 19:5,6. It’s not a new deal–that’s how we marry Christ like God said to Israel, “I am married to you.” Jer 3:14.  God got an ignorant bride that worshiped a calf 40 days later.
