Today’s message looks at philosophy, psychotherapy, psychology and theology in it’s attempts to find the answer to individuals who are hearing voices over a significant portion of time. We start with the true story (best as I can recall) of Judith and Luna, two middle-aged women who were regularly tormented by threatening and commanding voices, how those voices came in, and the sad stories of their plight after attempts at exorcism. Some research is challenged, such as the treatment of psycho-therapies and the hearing voices movement. We also look at exorcism of demonic entities and the mistakes some exorcists make in the course of their ministry. I didn’t get all finished with this due to time constraints, but at the end, I did include the beginning forays into self-deliverance from the demonic entities that so many of us confide in, allow in and depend on.
