What is the current status of US Secretary of State John Kerry’s efforts to restart direct peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians ? It seems that both sides are repeating their long held positions. The Palestinians insist that Israel agree to a PLO state based upon 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital in order to restart peace talks.
