In Psalm 4, David is professing his perfect trust in the plans and purposes of God, no matter what the world is planning to do. Today, as we are inundated by troubling news around the world, we must renew our efforts to focus totally on our Heavenly Father’s plans for us. We must not allow the troubles of the world to steal our shalom and our ability to sleep peacefully. Our Heavenly Father is in control and He is not surprised by what is going on around us. He just wants us to remain faithful and trust Him.
