The term “Spiritual Warfare” conjures up images either in from Hollywood or personal experience and usually always focuses on the demonic forces that come against human beings. But the battle between human beings and demons is only a fraction of the scope of spiritual warfare. Not only do we battle demons and our own fleshly appetites, we also still fight the shame that we inherited from Adam and Eve which caused them to hide from the Father’s presence. The struggle to bring our sins and shame into His presence is an ever present struggle in the Body of Messiah. Framed from Psalm 34, Cole illustrates what it means to taste of His goodness and how He rescues us every day.
