In our everyday world, we find ourselves often hoping for a better life, for a better job, for good weather, for a loved one’s well-being; for lots of things in our everyday material world. In the spiritual world that surrounds us, there too is the element of hope. To find out what this is all about, we must look into the biblical narratives and teachings. In doing so, we’ll find out that to have “hope,” it hinges on our entering into the biblical Door of Hope — in Hebrew: “Petach Tikvah.” And so, what is this exactly?
