Understanding the Ruach/Spirit – Part 4 deals mainly with the question, “What is the Holy Spirit”, in Hebrew, Ruach haKodesh or ‘The Spirit of Elohim’. This lesson deals mainly with the idea of the doctrine of the Trinity; that the Holy Spirit, or Ghost as the Trinitarians say, is a separate entity coexistent and coequal with the Father and the Son.

Rabbi Steve Berkson begins this teaching by admonishing us that our ability to fully understand this topic is limited; like a one-cell amoeba trying to understand the multi-cell human body.

Rabbi Berkson asks only that his listeners approach this teaching sincerely looking for truth and understanding, not comfort and reassurance that what they already have is the truth and the correct understanding.
