Parsha “Beha’alotecha” (Numbers chapters 8 through 12) covers quite a wide range of topics, from the menorah and silver trumpets, and thus things like, “head ’em up, move ’em out”, to some elements that are considerably more “problematic.” The fact that they are still so apropos is what should resonate with us now.

The Erev Shabbat overview lays out the “what and why?”

The Sabbath midrash continues from there, with the implications.
