As we have just experienced the devastation of hurricane Ian, we may be asking, “Where is God?” David has some answers in Psalms 55 and 107 that encourage us to remember the loving kindness of our Heavenly Father. God did not create hurricanes; they are a result of a fallen world. In the middle of these disasters, we are reminded that He will never leave us or forsake us and that He will ultimately restore all things to their original perfection. There will be no more hurricanes or death and destruction.
