As we experience the amazing events swirling around us, we are tempted to think that the wrong side is winning. David had many such experiences in his life and the Psalms he wrote, and others, reflect that struggle to keep our Heavenly Father in mind and thought amidst what seems to tell us other forces may be in control. David’s answer as well as Moses’s, the author of the Psalms we are reading today, 95 and 96, continues to be to sing and praise our Heavenly Father for all the wonders He has performed on our behalf – from creating us to sustaining us. The Psalms, once again, are the answer to our times and troubles.
