As we turn the page from one year to the next, it is important to pause and take the opportunity to evaluate where we have come from and where we are going. We don’t really have the power in ourselves to make the necessary changes that will make this coming year any different than the previous years. It is only through the power of the Holy Spirit within us that we can truly change to be able to fully realize all the potential that our Heavenly Father created within us when He brought us forth. David asked for God to CREATE a new heart within him and not take the Holy Spirit from him in Psalm 51 – He knew what was necessary for him to actually be able to change his life around. Can it be any different for us today?
