In this session we will be looking at Psalm 125, 126, and 127 – all Psalms of Ascent or in the Hebrew “Aliyah” – Songs of coming up. There are 15 Psalms of Aliyah written by David and one by Solomon that were used in the daily worship services of the temple as well as being sung by the pilgrims as they would travel up to Jerusalem 3 times a year for the annual feasts. King David was a worshiper and his music and words still echo today!
