Now Is The Time w/Rabbi Steve Berkson – The Fear of Yahweh – Part 4

“And now, Yisra’el, what is Yahweh your Elohim asking of you, but to FEAR Yahweh your Elohim…” Deuteronomy 10:12. This statement is the basis for this new, expanded teaching now on video for the first time.

Rabbi Steve Berkson takes us on a couple of “Rabbi Trails” in this teaching with the first one coming from Exodus 20:18-19 when the people said that they would die if they heard the voice of Elohim any longer. Rabbi Steve explains to us that the voice, or the Word of Elohim, kills the flesh and then connects this passage in Exodus with John chapter 3 and chapter 6, how Yeshua talked about transformation from “flesh” to “spirit” through Him, the living Word of Elohim.

Then, in the second Rabbi Trail, Rabbi Steve teaches us about the Hebrew word “nasah”, which is translated into English as “trying” or “testing”, as it applies to us toward Elohim, inappropriately testing or trying Him and Elohim toward us as He is continually “trying” and “testing” us to see if it is in our hearts to fear Him.
