Mankind has been charged from the beginning to tending and preserving what YHVH has created and established. Adam was charged to keep and tend the Garden of Eden. The Father could have had angels completing that task while man sat in opulent comfort. Humans being made in the image or Elohim cannot be separated from a purpose anymore than they can be separated from their spirits. As much as they are their spirits, they are their purpose.
