When Gabriel said “the vision is at the time of the end,” in Dan 8:17, he was referring to the ram and goat conflict. The ram’s horns were the kings of Media and Persai, verse 20, but those areas are now Iraq & Iran–We are at the time of the end and will see the the goat from the west stomp a militant Muslim ram after it takes Jerusalem in Zechariah 14:1,2.
