Psalms 99 and 100 are both reminding us to praise our Heavenly Father no matter what is going on around us. In Psalm 100 we are told to enter His gates with praise and thanksgiving – Psalm 99 tells us that our Heavenly Father is our shepherd, and we are the sheep of His pasture – therefore we can depend on Him to take very good care of us no matter what. In all the negative news swirling around us, it is good to pause a few moments and remember these Psalms and keep our Heavenly Father’s watch care over us at the forefront of our minds.
