Sometimes we are tempted to think that the wicked are getting all the breaks and it doesn’t “pay” to follow God’s teachings. Malachi 3:13-17 tells us that it may seem that way but God is writing down in a special book the conversations of those who still trust in Him no matter what is happening in the world around us. Psalm 1 tells us that the one who loves the Torah or Teachings of our Heavenly Father will walk in a blessed life. Even when things get tough, our confidence in Him will bring a different perspective to what we are going through. I use the sounds of the birds singing to remind us that when we are tempted to let what man is doing discourage us, if we can spend some time out in God’s creation, we will see how amazing His creative power is and the things of man will fade in significance. Our faith in our Heavenly Father will be restored and we will have our conversations written in the book that He refers to when he gathers His treasured sons and daughters.
