This episode is dedicated to those who have lost loved ones. This past week my mother took her last breath and graduated into the loving arms of our Heavenly Father. I wanted to share some of the Psalms that have brought me comfort and share with those who may have interest how we prepared for our mother’s passing and allowed her to be on hospice and spend her last days at home surrounded by her loving family and friends. As a Registered Nurse, I have witnessed many deaths in the hospital setting and each time it seemed so out of place and unnatural. With my Mom, it was bitter sweet. Bitter that we don’t have her with us anymore – for now – but sweet because she was peaceful and maintained her dignity. Sweet also because we have a blessed hope that we will see her again – this is not the end but just the beginning!
