Barack Obama is turning his new home in the posh Kalorama section of the nation’s capital – just two miles away from the White House – into the nerve center of the mounting insurgency against his successor, President Donald J. Trump. His goal, according to a close family friend, is to oust Trump from the presidency either by forcing his resignation or through his impeachment. And Obama is being aided in his political crusade by his longtime consigliere, Valerie Jarrett, who has moved into the 8,200-square-foot, $5.3-million Kaloroma mansion with the former president and Michelle Obama, long time best friends.
Obama has set up an office on the West End of the national’s capitol, where he recently hosted an open house for his White House staff – including Joe Biden, Susan Rice, Josh Earnest and Jarrett. The office, part of his post presidency perks, cannot be used for political purposes so he is using his home because he personally payes the rent.
On Tuesday, former Attorney General Eric Holder revealed that Obama is indeed getting closer to making his public reappearance in politics. ‘It’s coming. He’s coming,’ Holder said speaking to reporters. ‘And he’s ready to roll.’ Spurred on by Jarrett and Michelle, the ex-president has come to embrace his role as the leader of the opposition against Trump, whose policies he loathes and whose presidency he considers illegitimate.
‘He is going to use his immense popularity with the half of the country that identifies as liberals and progressives,’ said the Obama family source. ‘Millions of Americans are energized and ready to take to the streets to oppose Trump, but they need to be organized and have their anger focused and directed.
Obama’s goal is to ‘oust’ Donald Trump from the presidency by forcing his resignation or through his impeachment. Democrats are moving away from the usual impeachment procedure to impeachment under the 25th Amendment. Democratic Congresswoman Jackie Speier, wants to use the 25th amendment because President Trump does not act presidential enough.
“The 25th Amendment is there to provide a backstop if in fact the president becomes incapacitated. “the 1967 amendment has its roots in the Kennedy assassination, covers ways to replace an incapacitated president.”
There’s that threat of assassinating President Trump again. During the Obama years, there was talk of assassination by some kind of lone wolf sniper, but now the assassination calls are coming from the top of the US government. It is part of the Democratic convention platform, apparently! Recall that it was democratic Governor Blunt of MIssouri who published a list of possible terrorists early in Obama’s term.
The MIAC report – Missouri Information Analysis Center (MIAC) entitled “The Modern Militia Movement” dated February 20, 2009 – was an “unclassified” but “law enforcement sensitive,” and not for public consumption report. News of this report flooded the media when an anonymous police officer sent it to Alex Jones. Alex reported that the MIAC report does not concentrate on Muslim terrorists, but rather on the so-called “militia movement”. The report targeted returning war veterans, eople who held political opinions opposing abortion, illegal immigration, the New World Order, the North American Union, the Income Tax, the U.N., etc., were profiled in the MIAC report. Interestingly enough, no left-leaning political ideologies were identified. No Islamic extremists. No environmental extremists. Only people holding “conservative” or “right-wing” philosophies were identified in the MIAC report.
This time, the people responsible for the MIAC report are targeting the leader of those who are right-leaning conservatives. Author David Brooks of the New York Times says, “I still have trouble seeing how the Trump administration survives a full term. Judging by his Thursday press conference, President Trump’s mental state is like a train that long ago left freewheeling and iconoclastic, has raced through indulgent, chaotic and unnerving, and is now careening past unhinged, unmoored and unglued.”
Aside from the antisemitism that is increasing and spreading across the United States, comes another mental menace – that of daring to disagree with the powerful elites, even by someone who is part of the elite. Except, as I have reported since Donald Trump decided to run for office, he is a New World Order shill. He has abandoned the western elites in favor of the eastern conclave in order to repair the breach in the global economy caused by Obama’s recklessness.
Under the 25th Amendment, a sitting vice president and a majority of the executive branch’s cabinet could, on their own, agree to transfer power out of the hands of a sitting president. At that point, those officials would notify Congress, and the vice president would assume the office as the acting president.
And what if the challenged president wasn’t on board with the plan to remove him/her from the office? As Vox recently explained, “If the president wants to dispute this move, he can, but then it would be up to Congress to settle the matter with a vote. A two-thirds majority in both houses would be necessary to keep the vice president in charge. If that threshold isn’t reached, the president would regain his powers.”
Obama knew Trump was working with the Russians behind the scenes to get elected in order to undo the mess Obama made over his eight years in office. The Obama administration worked hard to preserve the intel of the Russian election hacking and then left an easy trail for the media find. White House officials scrambled to spread information about Russian efforts to undermine the presidential election and possible contacts between associates of President-elect Donald Trump and the Russians. Former American officials say they had two aims: to ensure that such meddling isn’t duplicated in future American or European elections, and to leave a clear trail of intelligence for government investigators.
American allies, including the British and the Dutch, had provided information describing meetings in European cities between Russian officials — and others close to Russia’s president, Vladimir Putin — and associates of President-elect Trump, according to three former American officials who requested anonymity in discussing classified intelligence.
Separately, American intelligence agencies had intercepted communications of Russian officials, some of them within the Kremlin, discussing contacts with Trump associates. Members of the Obama White House were intentionally leaving a trail so it couldn’t easily be covered up by the incoming administration. The New York Times reports that at the Obama White House, Mr. Trump’s statements raised fears that intelligence could be covered up or destroyed — or its sources exposed — once power changed hands. What followed was a push to preserve the intelligence that underscored the deep anxiety with which the White House and American intelligence agencies had come to view the threat from Moscow.
It also reflected the suspicion among many in the Obama White House that the Trump campaign might have colluded with Russia on election email hacks — a suspicion that American officials say has not been confirmed. Former senior Obama administration officials said that none of the efforts were directed by Mr. Obama.
The result of this interference by Barack Obama is that White House lawyers have instructed the president’s aides to preserve materials that could be connected to Russian interference in the 2016 election and other related investigations, three administration officials said Wednesday. They are keep all materials involving contacts that Trump’s administration, campaign and transition team — or anyone acting on their behalf — have had with Russian government officials or their associates.
The New York Times reported that intelligence officials working for the Obama administration had grown so concerned about the scope of Russia’s meddling in the elections and the evidence of ties to Trump’s operation that they began to leave a breadcrumb trail of clues for future investigators to follow. Among those data points that had them spooked were a series of meetings that affiliates of the Trump campaign and the Russian government allegedly held in European capitals ― meetings that the Trump White House has consistently denied ever took place.
About an hour later, The Washington Post published its report that U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions spoke twice last year with Russia’s ambassador to the United States and failed to disclose it to lawmakers during his January confirmation hearing. Sessions had been a top surrogate for the Trump campaign and a senior member of the influential Senate Armed Services Committee. The newspaper noted that no other member of that committee could recall speaking to the Russian ambassador.
U.S. investigators have looked into Sessions’ communications with the Russian diplomat as part of a broader investigation into possible links between Trump’s campaign and the Russian government, The Wall Street Journal reported later on Wednesday.
Justice Department officials told The Washington Post that Sessions met with Ambassador Sergey Kislyak in his role as a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee rather than as a Trump campaign adviser. (The Post could not identify a member of the committee who had met with Kislyak last year.)
Sessions followed up late Wednesday with a statement: “I never met with any Russian officials to discuss issues of the campaign. I have no idea what this allegation is about. It is false.”
Democrats are now calling for the resignation of Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
