Leaving Behind the Idols and Demons of the Past

The closer we get to the Great Tribulation, the more Hebrews speak of getting themselves ready for entering the wilderness and the Camp of the Righteous just like our ancestors did when they left Egypt. So many are focused on what they should bring with them, but few are speaking about what should be left behind.

Jacob’s wife, Rachel, allowed her bitter feelings and rejection she felt from her earthly father to lead her to drag the idols of her past with her when she left her ancestral land. We must stop and consider what pains of our past must be left behind. More than the false traditions and lies of our ancestors, we must face the pain in our past in order to be set free from demonic oppression and the curses of our ancestors. The Adversary has had enough victory over the people of YHVH.
