Jackson Snyder Presents – a commentary on Revelation 13, identifying the land beast and the sea beasts.  Actually, the Greek word ?????? (therion), which is translated as ‘beast,’ means ‘a wild man’ or ‘a wild animal,’ which I suppose you could understand as a beast, but ?????? is a specific technical term for some person the Romans knew well.  A typical ?????? in New Testament lore would be Herod the Great in his pursuit of the children in Bethlehem.  Many miss the fact that in the chapter there are two beasts.  We will identify the ????????, the heads, the horns, the mark of the beast (not what you think), and its identity using the coded messages within the chapter.
