Wakeup! for May 25, 2017
Today is the 50th anniversary of the event that started the Six Day War—the illegal closing of the Straits of Tiran to Israeli shipping, by Egypt’s President, Gamal Abdul Nasser. Closing international waters to shipping is an act of war.
Today’s guest is Michael B, the head of the Jewish Defense League in British Columbia, at Vancouver on Canada’s West Coast.
Michael B is a self-described Kabalist; but he insists that Kabala is not cultic, although some may find it mystical. Engineer Daniel Friedman, in his book The Genesis One Code, attempts to reconcile six-day creation with a 15-billion-year-old universe by using a formulation derived from Kabalist Isaac Luria.
“It’s a merging of the scientific and the spiritual,” says Michael B. “Quantum physics is beginning to use what sounds like the use of spiritual and mystical language.”
“137 is a very powerful number in Kabala. Google Kabala 137 or Quantum Physics 137. Psalm 137 is where David says, ‘I I forget thee, O Jerusalem…’ We live in a holographic universe.
“Forgetting Jerusalem = dividing Jerusalem = terror.”
“Kabala is not what you study, it’s what you are… the Kabala is referred to in the Tanakh; it’s teaching you the ancient wisdom of the universe.
Dan asked : “Isn’t that what the ruach haKodesh is for?”
Michael replied, “Absolutely… there’s a whole study of how breath and God and truth are one… Kabbala is a meditation that you do, meditating on the 72 names of God.
We’re instructed to know that name… but people don’t know His name any more.
“Most people paint a picture of false hope and faith and belief… a First World picture of the world… but everything is connected now… it’s one world… I see the world as the fulfillment of prophecy… Israel is the fulfillment of prophecy.”
“The Dead Sea Scrolls were found the year before Israel was established… it’s another sign from God… The War Scroll is about the war between the sons of light and the sons of darkness…
“That’s not to say we are at war with the Muslim people; there are millions and millions of Muslim people who have Jewish roots—they were forced to convert and their women were raped.
“What we’re fighting against is a wicked ideology. The only country in the Middle East where Muslims are free is Israel.
“Democracy is three wolves and one sheep voting on what’s for dinner. Democracy can be good, but the vulnerable minorities have to be protected.”
Michael suggested that listeners should get a copy of the Zohar from a book store library, and read it for themselves, or write to him by e-mail at Daniel@hebrewnation.net; or at
